Hi! I'm Jamia Yarbrough, a Clinical Mental Health Counseling Practicum Student at Tarleton State University. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to join you on your explorative journey toward personal growth and healing.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), as I believe that therapy should be a collaborative and empowering experience. These methods allow us to work together to identify and change negative thought patterns and focus on solutions to address your current challenges.

Creating a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment is my top priority. I am here to support you every step of the way, and I look forward to collaborating with you on your counseling journey. Together, we will work towards achieving your goals and building a brighter, more resilient future.
