Welcome! I'm so proud that you're taking this courageous step towards prioritizing your well-being. I’m honored to join you on your journey toward healing and growth. Embarking on therapy can feel scary, but please know that you're not alone. Together, we’ll navigate this path, with support every step of the way.
My journey in social work began in juvenile justice in 2014, and since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan—children as young as 10 to adults in their 70s. Throughout my career, I’ve found my true passion in helping others create happiness and nurture healing. I believe that self-care is essential for well-being-- you cannot pour from an empty cup.
My approach to therapy is collaborative, and I truly believe that you are the expert on your own life. While my primary approach is rooted in Psychodynamic Therapy, I also bring expertise in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) which helps me respond effectively to the effects of trauma. I also incorporate faith-based approaches for those who feel comfortable and find strength in their spirituality. I believe that faith can be a powerful source of resilience and healing, and I welcome the opportunity to explore how your faith can be part of your therapeutic journey.
Whether you're dealing with a challenging life stage or working through difficult emotions, I am here to provide a safe, supportive environment where we can develop practical tools to foster emotional well-being and lasting change. Additionally, I am committed to providing a safe, affirming, and nonjudgmental space for all. I honor and respect your unique journey and will support you in navigating challenges related to identity, relationships, and personal growth.
Healing is a journey, and it is a privilege to travel that path with you.
